Spring Coffee Morning
The Spring Coffee Morning took place as planned on Thursday 11th April 2019 from 10.30 am in the Bowling Club. Standard admission fee was £2.00. There was a raffle and a quiz with loads of prizes for the winners. It seemed as if everyone was a winner! The drinks and cakes were free and the choice was mouth-watering.
It was a lovely social occasion. A big thank you to Marie Geary and others for organising things
We look forward to seeing as many members as possible on these occasions – do bring along any friends who would like to know more about U3A and perhaps joining us. Volunteers are always welcome for tea-making duties. We would be delighted to have your help! Contact Marie Geary.
The 2018 Christmas dinner was held at the Falcon Hotel, Lammas Street, Carmarthen. A big thank you to Marie Geary for booking the hotel and making all the arrangements.
On the day a good time was had by all. David and Gwyneth Grindod provided some unexpected seasonal entertainment!
