The Speaker’s Secretary is Judy Taylor who has provided us with some excellent speakers on a wide variety of subjects. We have seen some amazing magic from Tyweli Griffiths, heard about Carmarthen Town’s proposed development and the pedestrianisation of King’s Street, together with upgrading the Jackson’s Lane area, the Wales Air Ambulance, the challenge of being a chaplain in Iraq, learnt about the flora and animal life in the West of Ireland’s “The Burren” , the Suffrage movement in Carmarthen and been told about the work of the Dog’s Trust.
Join us for our Christmas dinner at the Falcon Hotel, Lammas Street, Carmarthen for 1 pm on Thursday 13th December 2018. See menu for details.
Marie Geary has already booked the meal and secured a reservation for us. It will be a 3 course meal at a cost of £20 per person. Some money has already been paid in by members and been paid to the Falcon as a deposit. The outstanding £10 or £20 (depending on whether you have paid a deposit or not) will need to be with Marie by the end of October. We are grateful to Marie for making the arrangements.
